27 Mar 20: Local Update

Working from Home

Most of our members have now transitioned to working from home. If you have any questions or concerns regarding work-related issues please remember to reach out to one of our Local Stewards or our Membership Services Officer. Their contact information can be found on the right-hand side of the main page of our Local Website.

Thank you to all our members for your dedication and hard work over the past few weeks. The dedication and support you provide to our students and fellow staff, as always, goes above and beyond!!

AUPE Pandemic Information Hub

AUPE has a section of the main website set up for pandemic information. This page will be updated continuously with information relevant to AUPE members regarding pandemic response and related issues during the COVID-19 outbreak. You can find the link/site here.
There have been several updates yesterday and today so I encourage you to check it often.

AUPE Resource Center

Any time you have a question about AUPE or being a member you can access the aupe.org website or contact the AUPE Resource Center at 1-800-232-7284. This past week the Resource Center has experienced an extremely high volume of calls. If you do have to contact them and are unable to get through, please try back a little later to see if you are able to get through. Members are working and the call center is open, if you call is not getting through it is because the lines are overloaded and you just have to be patient.
